The Human Variome Project is a global initiative founded by Prof Dick Cotton that maintains and curates databases of genetic mutations, to save lives and prevent disease by making this information available for free, globally.

Mirabel has been helping vulnerable children and carers for 25 years. Established by the incredible founder Jane Rowe, Mirabel is run by a small, dedicated team who are passionate about giving Mirabel children and their carers the support they need to live their best possible lives. Mirabel is unique in Australia, working with the forgotten victims of drugs. Our aim is to restore a child’s sense of self-worth and belonging. By supporting both the children and their carers, we strengthen families to thrive during this difficult journey.
Graça Machel is one of the world’s leading advocates for women’s and children’s rights and has been a social justice and political activist for many decades. She established the Graça Machel Trust in 2010 as a Pan-African advocacy organisation focused on child health and nutrition, education, women’s economic and financial empowerment, leadership and good governance.
The Melbourne Foundation provides private school secondary scholarships for financially disadvantaged. It was established in 2006 to provide scholarships to Australian children from financially disadvantaged backgrounds, based on the principle that education provides the best avenue to open opportunities in a person’s life.
